Refund Policy for Mai Hostel

Welcome to Mai Hostel! We strive to provide a comfortable and supportive living environment for students and working professionals. We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your reservation or request a refund. Please review our refund policy below to understand how we handle such requests.

1. Reservation Cancellation and Refund Eligibility:

a. Reservation Cancellation and Refund Eligibility:

Full Refund: If you cancel your reservation at least 14 days before your scheduled check-in date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit and any prepaid rent. Partial Refund: If you cancel your reservation between 7 to 13 days before your scheduled check-in date, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit and any prepaid rent. No Refund: If you cancel your reservation less than 7 days before your scheduled check-in date, no refund will be issued.

b. Cancellation After check-in:

Notice Period: You must provide at least 30 days' notice if you wish to terminate your stay early. Refund Calculation: Refunds for early termination will be calculated based on the remaining days of your paid stay after deducting any applicable early termination fees. No Refund: If you fail to provide the required 30-day notice, no refund will be issued for the remaining period of your stay.

2. Deposit Refunds:

Security Deposit: The security deposit is refundable upon checkout, provided there are no damages to the property and all terms of the lease agreement have been met. Damage Deductions: Any damages to the property or outstanding payments will be deducted from the security deposit. The remaining amount, if any, will be refunded within 14 days after checkout.

3. Payment Refunds:

Method of Refund: Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment whenever possible. If the original method is not available, alternative arrangements will be made. Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation request being approved or after checkout and inspection of the premises.

4. Special Circumstances:

Medical or Personal Emergencies: In cases of medical or personal emergencies, please contact our management team. We will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis and may require documentation to support your request.

Pandemic or Government Mandates: In the event of a pandemic or government mandates that require you to vacate the premises, we will issue refunds by applicable laws and guidelines.

5. Non-Refundable Fees:

Administrative Fees: Any administrative fees paid at the time of booking are nonrefundable. Service Charges: Service charges incurred during your stay are nonrefundable.
